Please find a useful list of TY programmes and volunteer work available here.  This is not an exhaustive list but should help you to get started in your search! Be aware that these places book up very quickly and are in big demand. They offer a wonderful opportunity to make contacts, experience college life, do something very meaningful and identify future courses of interest to you.


The Department of Botany hosts transition year students for a week-long structured work experience programme. School Visits to Military Barracks. All visits from schools/clubs to Military Barracks are coordinated and sanctioned through the Department of Defence Property Management Office.
